"White Public Space"—How It Is Created and What We Can Do To Change It

“White Public Spaces” are those spaces in which racism is reproduced and institutionalized by the culture’s power holders and institutions. Predominantly white colleges and universities and the communities in which they are located are prime creators and enforcers of such spaces.  This session is designed to sharpen our skills at identifying these spaces and recreating them to be more inclusive.
